Recognize a Meissen porcelain - Saxe of the 18th century, by Antoinette Faÿ-Hallé, Ed. RMN, 6 inches x 7 inches ( 15 cm x 18.5 cm ), softcover book with 64 full color pages

This softcover book with 64 pages with marks and signatures will help you recognize an antic Saxe porcelain piece of Meissen of the 18th century.
Three men of genius made the glory of the Meissen factory: the first, a trained alchemist, Johann Friedrich Böttger, discovered "the arcane", the recipe.
After his death in 1720, the enameller Johann Gregorius Höroldt created the palette necessary for delicate Chinese paintings.
As for the sculptor Johann Joachim Kändler, he was the greatest baroque spirit who invented the forms of this new material.
To protect the secret of its manufacture, the manufacture was housed in Meissen in the castle of Albrechsburg, a veritable fortress where the secret was kept for a long time.

The French texts are written by Antoinette Faÿ-Hallé.
